Toddling Flurff

Remember when this little hellgriff twerp tried catch a bit smaller prey? This time he tried too much. Adult flurff is a way too big for him. Besides it barely felt anything through its tight fur...

Then some information WHAT are flurffs...
Flurffs are omnivorous animals living in areas of four season. Their fur changes colour seasonally - in summer it's green like grass, then turns brown and in winter it's white...which turns green again in springtime. Really cryptic creature. Their claws are grown together to be a hoof-like thing (it's not a hoof, they still have total four fingers under a claw and skin...).
They're curious and sometimes even disturbing but usually harmless. They don't eat anything alive - means they don't kill to get meat but if they find dead meat somewhere it's tasty. Flurffs eat anything from grass to lichen and mushrooms to meat.
Tight fur protects flurffs well. They don't have real natural enemies because those can't bite through the fur. Besides flurff's meat isn't too tasty. And they can hide well. In summertime flurr really looks like a little grassy hill.
Young flurffs live alone until find a mate - flurff couple stays together whole life. Flurffs are mammals though they lay eggs too. 2-4 offsprings born in early summer after a week incubation (before that eggs are incubated a few months inside female's body). First year flurffs stay with their parents but next summer they're matured and leave to find own family.
A lone wanderer can get annoyed by flurffs - they like to follow anybody but escape right away when that tries follow them instead. Fire scares flurffs so make a campfire and flurffs won't tease you too much.
Flurffs are too useless to be domesticated animals, though. They're messy, need much space, maybe learn some tricks but that's all. (A bit like pigs but aren't tasty and fur is too hard and becomes brittle after a few year.)

And this was the CLEVER idea out of two "great" ideas I got. |x (Don't worry, you'll see the other thing someday too...I just have to decide some pose problems and how to draw shiny textile... Yes, be afraid.) ...
...Be prepared to see more flurffs someday, I kinda like them...
