Rainy Day

Sometimes nature itself is the most mischievous one.

Boney creature surrounded by steam could be fearsome thing...but if you look better, it just disapproves current situation. Desire is a postcreated creature which body temperature is continuously over 100°C (usually between 200 and 300 (fire in its stomach is hotter)...without burning wings and tail on, then temperature is much higher), so while standing in rain water vaporates straight away and causes eerie fog around. Desire is clever creature which understands its powers and stays in uninhabited humid mountain area, just to not harm anybody. Often it flies very high in the sky with its burning wings - there's space and nothing what it could accidentally burn.
Desire is not dangerous for a random wanderer, if that remembers to have some silent respect. Desire doesn't try harm anybody just because it could do it...but it is very easily offended if that random one acts annoying, unrespectful way. Then Desire shows its worst side - its heat can burn anything, or anybody, into ashes in a tiny while.
Common rain doesn't harm Desire, but it's theoretically possible to extinguish its fire with pale water. It would need much water though, and even then Desire wouldn't die, just fall into hibernation like state until somebody set on its fire again. (Technically: carries it into a fire until it' body temperature rises to 100°C again - then it awakes.)
