Species: Lupogryph/Tygregryph hybrid (3/4 lupogryph, 1/4 tygregryph)
Alignment: lawful good
Closest relations: mate Hor, daughter Gridr
Personality traits: motherly, loving, shy, social
Personality in long: Aen is shy among strangers, but usually gets used to any company and shows her social and talkative side.
Physical appearance: Size of a lupogryph, but her tygregryph kin gives her many detail differences.
Specialities: nothing known
Life in short: Lost first her mother and later father, both died in illness and soon after that she got chased by moraine wolves until Hor saved her. She got ill too, but Hor brought her to salkahis that healed her. She started to love Hor, who was a kind soul and (proportionally) same age than her. They got their daughter later, but after that Aen was often ill and finally died when Gridr was fifteen.

Weird fact: Scared Hor many times by talking about kids too early.

It was stormy, rainy and dark night, except when a lightning illuminated the cloudy sky and wet grounds. In these nights something bad happens, and this wasn't an exception. Aen was running there for her life.
Little female gryphon was lost and barely survived when a group of three big and hungry moraine wolves were attacked - she got bited and scratched and now tried to escape from them.
They were chasing her.
Aen was tired, the weather and wounds didn't allow her to fly away and wolves were near. She climbed up a rocky cliff, wishing the predators couldn't follow but that was useless wish - they followed. Hunger was stronger than the whole storm. Aen reached the top before beasts got her, and desperately looked any place she could go. She noticed a quite big cave entrance near, and sneaked inside.
There was dark. Aen was wet and choking, looked around where she should go next. Then she noticed she wasn't alone. Something big and scaly was there beside her. It had giant wings and horns. It slowly looked at her with pretty unimpressed face, growled silently. Aen was shocked.
Outside the wolves doubt should they go inside. Animals had sense for danger, but hunger leaded them inside. Very little while Aen was between two bad, the beasts and that giant creature.
Hor's eyes gave only one look for them.
Right at the moment giant breath of fire blasted before the eyes of Aen.
And then - silence. Hor's breath smoked a bit after his firebreath. Aen stared, shocked. Two of three wolves were burnt to death and one ran away fast. Aen gave little scared look to big creature. It looked back with same unimpressed look. Then yawned and fell down.
Aen wasn't sure what she should think. This one just saved her life eventhough it wasn't even interested about whole thing. She thanked and was walking away.
Flap.
Suddenly Hor put his wing on front of Aen. And talked. "No go. You hurt. Beasts waiting outside." Then folded his wing again.
Aen was more confused. He could talk. Aen waited a little, then asked who he was.
"Hor". That was whole answer. Aen looked her big protector a little while, relaxed, then started to sleep beside him.
Outside there was raining.

...That was how they met. Next morning Aen was sick and Hor had to save her again (he carried her near village). ... Story continues and continues.</sub>
