Is anyone familiar with this stuff?
I can say I have known this a couple of years now but tried to make it second time now (first time ended up being a blocky mess).
Overall who ever found out that you can make fine air dry clay easily by yourself from safe incredients was a genious.
Anyway, I made a couple of batches of this, just to test how this really works. It's now wrapped up (a few coloured and colorless pieces) waiting how it looks tomorrow and I should think what I try to make. And a few...blobs drying. I want to know how durable this stuff is when dried.
Things I learnt already:
- Do not try bake it too long. I mean it. My dough may be a bit stiff, but when I tried to bake a piece purposefully long, it got burnt. Just in minutes.
- Oil colour is good for colouration.
- Kneading that stuff into right shape is rather time taking.
